While I am not a web designer, I do have many years experience in managing and adding features to two websites, one of which is a forum with over 50,000 members and the largest of its kind. I watched dozens of hours of outdated videos and spent money for pro versions of a theme and a page builder which only added to my confusion. But that also points to one of the amazing things about EDD, it's extensibility. This has presented some challenges in integrating with our back-end systems. CONSĪdmittedly, several of our products are services and not in the realm of typical for EDD. Having a pre-built solution for these two things is a huge win. The two biggest reasons I chose EDD was the Stripe integration and the recurring/subscription integration. We have taken advantage of multiple extensions to avoid the cost of building these things ourselves. EDD offers a whole host of extensions, which causes the plugin to be extensible by design.
